Immersion, Focus and Development
We devote substantial time to each location, allowing us to work deeply into the most compelling photographic opportunities and approach composition and field technique with discipline and precision.
This workshop is especially aimed at nature photography enthusiasts who wish to find calm, immerse themselves, and spend several days continuously inside the photographic process together with others who share the same passion.

Rather than moving quickly between viewpoints, we refine compositions, study light transitions and strengthen technical execution.
Our role as instructors is to challenge you creatively and technically so that you can take clear steps forward in your photographic development. Bjørn remains present with the group throughout the entire workshop, offering continuous feedback and guidance tailored to each participant’s needs and ambitions.

Classical Foundations — and Creative Exploration
In addition to working with classical landscape subjects, compositional principles and established techniques, the workshop actively encourages experimentation.
Participants are invited to explore and test methods that may initially feel unfamiliar or unpredictable. Controlled experimentation is an essential part of creative growth.
You will also be challenged to strengthen the creative awareness needed to produce compelling photographs regardless of weather and light conditions. Rather than waiting for “perfect” light, we learn how to interpret and use what is present — whether calm, wind, overcast skies or high contrast.

Fine Art Printing
An essential part of the workshop is the transition from fieldwork to finished photographic work. We will work systematically through the entire fine art printing process — from image selection and tonal refinement to final output.
Participants will learn:
Proper file preparation for large-format printing
Tonal control and contrast optimisation
Paper selection and print aesthetics
The principles of colour management
How to correctly calibrate and profile a monitor
How accurate screen-to-print matching is achieved
Understanding and controlling the full workflow — including precise screen calibration — is crucial for producing consistent, exhibition-quality results.
Each participant will take home one professionally produced fine art print of a photograph developed during the workshop, in a format of up to 60 × 90 cm.
Locations
Field sessions take place in:
Moutmarka and Skåetangen
Helgerødtangen (Verdens Ende area)
