By dedicating several uninterrupted days solely to photography, you enter a creative flow where observation becomes sharper and your sense of visual storytelling expands. Free from everyday distractions, you can explore, experiment and refine your technique in ways that are seldom possible in ordinary life. This immersion not only elevates your abilities as a travel photographer — it makes your future journeys richer, more intentional and filled with new photographic possibilities.
What You Will Learn
This workshop emphasises seeing, composing and responding creatively to the world around you. Throughout the week, you will strengthen your ability to recognise photographic potential in everyday situations, work with light, geometry and timing in historic urban environments, and develop a consistent approach to photographing architecture and cultural heritage. You will learn methods for photographing people in public spaces, explore long exposures, tripod techniques and low-light photography, and receive hands-on guidance and feedback directly in the field.

Locations We Photograph
The locations we explore throughout the workshop are carefully selected to offer the most inspiring and rewarding photographic opportunities Croatia has to offer. Each place has been chosen not only for its visual richness, but also for the way it challenges you to grow — from observing light and structure in ancient architecture to capturing atmosphere, rhythm and detail in everyday Adriatic life. Together, these varied environments provide a dynamic and educational experience that strengthens both your technical skills and your creative eye.

Salona – Roman Amphitheatre & Ancient City
The ancient city of Salona, once the capital of Roman Dalmatia, spreads across a gentle landscape marked by amphitheatre remains, basilicas, arches and weathered stone walls. The soft Adriatic light reveals details and textures that lend themselves beautifully to architectural studies, minimalist scenes and thoughtful compositions that reflect the enduring presence of history. Salona’s wide, open setting invites slow, deliberate photographic work.
