Join us for eight days of landscape photography in the Dolomites, one of Europe’s most spectacular mountain regions. In late September and early October, the fall colors begin to emerge, the light becomes softer, and the landscape is quieter than during the peak season.
Dates: September –October 6, 2027,
Duration: 8 days / 7 nights
Group size: Maximum of 12 participants
Instructors: Bjørn Joachimsen and Terje Svendsen
Our itinerary is planned around the best available light. We photograph at sunrise and sunset and adjust the schedule according to the weather, light, and local conditions. Locations may include Lago di Misurina, Tre Cime, Lago di Braies, Passo Giau, Val di Funes, Alpe di Siusi, and Seceda.
Personal Instruction in the Field
With two instructors and a maximum of 12 participants, each photographer receives close, individual guidance. Topics include:
Composition and visual balance
Using foreground elements, depth, and layers
Understanding weather and changing mountain light
Camera technique and working methods in the field
Selecting images and developing a more cohesive body of work
The workshop is suitable for enthusiastic beginners, intermediate photographers, and experienced photographers. You should be familiar with your camera’s basic settings, but instruction will be adapted to your individual experience and skill level.
Airfare, travel insurance, accommodations before or after the workshop, and personal expenses are not included.
